MEDIA MANIPULATION Exhibit - Fall 2023
“The effects of media on our everyday psyche and psychology in today’s world are significant to say the least. Do most of us even realize how powerful the images, analytics and algorithms that are used in all forms of media affect our everyday life? Do we continue to chalk this us to the entertainment value outweighs the potential harm it can cause? Identifying these themes is something I believe critical to an awareness on how we can objectively absorb the media noise which has become as present in modern society as the air we breathe.”
MEDIA MANIPULATION is an exhibit featuring works representing themes and interactions with media and its effects on us as individuals, as well as, members of society.
Proceeds from the MEDIA MANIPULATION exhibition will support The Addy Foundation, which believes the arts are an integral and necessary part of our world, supporting non-profit organizations in the state of Colorado which have programs promoting the arts through education, community and the environment.
